1926.502(h)(1)(v): The safety monitor had other responsibilities which could take the monitor's attention from the monitoring function: a.) 41-47 Main Street., Newton, NJ The employer did not ensure employees were protected from falls. Employees engaged in construction activities on a commercial building worked at or near the outside edge of the roof while installing HVAC systems using a monitor as a means of fall protection where the monitor was observed performing other activities. Violation observed on or about March 21, 2022.
