29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1):Each employee on a working/walking surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet ( 1.8m ) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: (a) On top of a storage tank, at Midland Asphalt Materials Inc. in Lyons NY, on or about 3/22/2022: An employee was cutting the steel top off the storage tank, estimated to be 40' above the ground, without fall protection of any kind.
