29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a. 12 W. Westfield Ave., Roselle Park, NJ - Meridia at Roselle Park 10 The employer did not ensure employees were protected from falls. Employees engaged in masonry activities of a mixed use residential/commercial building worked at or near the outside edge of the structure near stair/elevator shaft #4 and were not attached with a fall harness and lanyard or had any other means of fall protection. Violation observed on or about March 22, 2022
