29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii):The point of operation of machines whose operation exposed an employee to injury, was not guarded: On or about March 15, 2022, the employer failed to ensure employees were protected from shear point hazards when operating the "National" metal shearing machine. Employees were exposed to amputation injuries due to the "National" metal shearing machine, located in the maintenance department, not having the guard affixed to the machine at the point of operation.
