(a) At a jobsite located near 3106 E Valley Water Mill Rd building #32, Springfield MO, employees were exposed to electrical shock hazards. Employees engaged in framing work were working with equipment that required electricity. Extension cords used to power equipment for framing work was found to have damage to the electrical insulation.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(4):Ladders were used for purposes other than the purposes for which they were designed: (a) At a jobsite located near 3106 E Valley Water Mill Rd building #32, Springfield MO, employees were exposed to fall hazards. Employees engaged in framing work were using a folded up A-frame step ladder, rested against the structure to access the framing work surface. The ladder being folded up and leaned against the structure to access the framing work is being used for purposes other than which it was designed.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1):Each employee on a walking/working surface having an unprotected side or edge which was six or more feet (1.8m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. (a) At a jobsite located near 3106 E Valley Water Mill Rd building #32, Springfield MO, employees were exposed to fall hazards. Employees engaged in framing work were working at heights over 6 feet without any form of fall protection.
