29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips, and sparks. On or about April 5, 2022, on the Southeast side of the packing area, a Jet Drill Press (Serial No. 14043044) did not have fixed or movable guards to protect employees from the point of operation injuries and contact with the rotating drill bit.

29 CFR 1910.243(a)(1)(i): Portable power-driven circular saw(s) having a blade diameter greater than two inches were not equipped with guard(s) below the base plate or shoe which automatically and instantly returned to the covering position when the tool was withdrawn from the work. On or about April 5, 2022, employees were using a miter saw on the southeast side of the packaging /packing area that was missing the bottom guard.
