29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10):Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system. a) Holt Roofing Company on or about April 7, 2022, at the address of 6000 Central Ave. Toledo, OH: The employer did not ensure employees were protected from falls while a top of a low sloped roof. Employees removing roofing material from atop the structure were exposed to falls up to 22 ft. to the ground below. Holt Roofing Company was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1323186, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on August 8, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 5254 Jackman Rd. Toledo, OH 43612.
