29 CFR 1910.215(b)(9): The distance between the abrasive wheel periphery(s) and the adjustable tongue or the end of the safety guard peripheral member at the top exceeded one fourth inch: (a) U.S. Department of the Army, Pueblo Chemical Depot: On or before 4/7/22 in Building 46, the employer did not protect employees from injury in that the Jet bench grinder tongue guard was not adjusted to being within a 1/4 of an inch from the abrasive wheel. This condition exposed employees to flying chips and sparks. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is not required for this item.

29 CFR 1910.303(g)(1)(ii):The required working space about electric equipment rated 600 volts, nominal, or less to ground, was used for storage: (a) U.S. Department of the Army, Pueblo Chemical Depot: On or before 4/7/22 in Building 46 the MDP panel and TIG welder shutoff did not have 30 inches of clearance as required by this standard due to the area being used for storage. This condition exposed employees to electric shock and fire hazards. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is not required for this item.
