29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(13):The top or step of a stepladder was used as a step: (a) 1198 S Upham Ct, Lakewood, CO 80232: On or about April 7, 2022, and at times prior, employees were exposed to falls due to stepping on the top step of an A-frame ladder while installing framing via a nail gun. 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b), nor did the employer demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems and develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of section 1926.502: a) 1198 S Upham Ct, Lakewood, CO 80232: On or about April 7, 2022, and at times prior, employees were exposed to falls at a height of approximately 11 feet to the ground below while installing framing. The employee was standing near the top of the frame itself and did not have fall protection. Woodpecker Framing Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1532358, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on June 28, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 8142 Adams Fork Ave, Littleton, CO 80125. Abatement Note: Abatement certification and documentation are required for this item (see enclosed Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet).
