29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. Location: 618 Pavonia Ave., Jersey City, NJ 07306 -2nd Level a) Employees were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 20-ft. to the ground below while walking around and performing mortar pouring and bricklaying operations within 4 feet of the building open edges with no fall protection around the exterior of the building or other means of fall protection, on or about 4/11/22.
