Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a. Located at 7405 Long Road in Columbus, Ohio: On or about April 12, 2022, employees were sheathing the steep pitched roof trusses without fall protection thereby exposing employees to a fall hazard from approximately thirteen feet. Geraldo Hernandez was previously cited for a serious violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1476888, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on 07/09/2020, with respect to a workplace located at 1509 Bowtown Road, Delaware, Ohio 43015.
