29 CFR 1910.95(g)(1):The employer did not establish and maintain an audiometric testing program as provided by 29 CFR 1910.95(g) by making audiometric testing available to all employees whose exposures equal or exceed an 8-hour time-weighted average of 85 decibels: a) 2960 Woodbridge Avenue, Edison, NJ - Production Areas; On or about 4/19/2022 and thereafter, the employer failed to provide annual audiometric testing to employee(s) exposed to noise whose exposures were equal or exceeded an 8-hour time-weighted average of 85 decibels. Employees including line operators and helpers operate machinery which forms & perforates sheet metal to fabricate studs, as well as manually jog & stack finished pieces at end run-out. Personal monitoring measured exposures of operator(s) and/or helpers(s) on Lines G, E and H to noise at 134%, 103% and 77% Dose; equivalent to 8-hour Time-weighted averages (TWA) of 92.1 dBA, 90.2 dBA and 88.1 dBA respectively.

Employees including line operators and helpers operate machinery which forms & perforates sheet metal to fabricate studs, as well as manually jog & stack finished pieces at end run-out. Personal monitoring measured exposures of operator(s) and/or helpers(s) on Line P to noise at 129% and 98%; equivalent to 8-hour Time-weighted averages (TWA) of 91.8 dBA and 89.8 dBA respectively.
