29 CFR 1910.216(c)(1): Safety tripod, cable, or wire center cord shall be provided across each pair of in-running rolls extending the length of the face of the rolls. It shall be readily accessible and operate whether pushed or pulled. The safety tripping devices shall be located within reach of the operator and the bite. a. Lamination Department - On or about April 11, 2022, an employee was working at the Aberdeen Road Company dba. Herculite site performing lamination winding on Laminator 1, when they were pulled into an unguarded calendar, which resulted in a hospitalization. Abatement certification and documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement or other written records.
