29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail systems, warning line system and safety net system, warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system. Or, on roofs 50-feet (15.25 m) or less in width (see Appendix A to subpart M of this part), the use of a safety monitoring system alone [i.e. without the warning line system] is permitted:  (a)	C AND R Painting LLC at 4685 Baseline Road, Boulder, CO 80303:  On and before April 20, 2022, the employer did not ensure employees were protected from injury while working on a low slope, 4-in-12 pitch roof of a commercial building, in that employees conducting re-roof work on a commercial building, were not utilizing a fall protection system. This condition exposed the employees to a fall hazard of approximately 9 feet at the eaves edge.
