29 CFR 1926.503(a)(2): The employer did not assure that each employee exposed to fall hazards was trained by a competent person qualified in the areas specified in 29 CFR 1926.503 (a)(2)(i) through (viii): a - 30 West Spruce Street, Lakewood NJ: A worker was exposed to fall hazards, up to and in excess of 23 feet 9 inches to the ground surface below, when installing sheathing onto a residential structure's pitched roof and onto exterior surfaces of its gables without the use of fall protection. This worker had not received fall protection training from a competent person qualified in the areas specified in 29 CFR 1826.503(a)(2)(i) through (viii) at the time of or prior to the worksite inspection. Condition observed on or about 04/28/22. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.

Condition observed on or about 04/28/22. Nissi Carpentry, LLC. was previously cited for a Serious violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1318388, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 07/26/2018, with respect to a workplace located at Foulks Lane Tradition @ Chesterfield, Chesterfield NJ. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
