29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(iii): Special hand tools for placing and removing material(s) was not provided to permit easy handling of material without the operator placing a hand in the danger zone: (a) On or about 4/26/2022 and at times prior to, 1610 Frank Akers Road, Anniston Al, 36207, Sample Prep department, employees were exposed to pinch point hazards when operating a shear machine to cut catalytic converters to process the metal contents and not utilizing special hand tools. Multimetco, Inc., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(iii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1436619, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 2/20/2020, with respect to a workplace located at 1610 Frank Akers Road, Anniston, AL 36207.
