29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: (a) On or about April 28, 2022, employees working on and around the Cincinnati Shear - Shear 1 (Serial No. 41326) were exposed to crushing/pinch point hazards while working on the back side of the shear. The pinch point created by the scrap bin door on the Cincinnati Conveyor (Serial No. 52491) and the Cincinnati Conveyor (Serial No. 52491) on the back side of the shear was not guarded.
