29 CFR 1910.219(f)(3):Sprocket wheels and chains which were seven (7) feet or less above floors or platforms were not enclosed: On or about April 25, 2022 the employer failed to ensure that effective machine guarding was in place over the chain and sprocket area on the underside of the conveyor system of the plastic barrel recycling equipment. Operators were exposed to the hazard while loading barrels onto the conveyor. Employees worked directly in front of the hazard.
