29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use[ANSIZ358.1-2004]:   a. On or about May 4, 2022, at the main kitchen area, employees were exposed to eyes and skin hazards when they used and/or handle corrosive products such as Spartan oven and grill cleaner (sodium hydroxide), and Detergent II (sodium hydroxide) during dishwashing operations and there were no facilities available for quick drenching of the eyes.  NOTE:  Certification and documentation of abatement must be submitted for this citation item as required by 29 CFR 1903.19(c).

29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1): Portable fire extinguishers were not mounted, located and identified so that they were readily accessible without subjecting the employees to injuries  On or about May 4, 2022, fully-charged Class ABC 10-lbs portable fire extinguishers were not mounted as follows:  a. At the rear door of the kitchen area. The fire extinguisher was located at floor level.   b. At the kitchen station near the dining and bar/areas. The fire extinguisher was located on a shelve next to the four outlet power receptacle and  electrical panels.   NOTE:   Certification of abatement must be submitted for this citation item as required by 29 CFR 1903.19(c).

29 CFR 1910.303(g)(1): Sufficient access and working space was not provided and maintained about all electric equipment (operating at 600 volts, nominal, or less to ground) to permit ready and safe operation and maintenance of such equipment:  On or about May 4, 2022, electrical service panels were not readily accessible in the following areas:  a. Rear section of the main kitchen area, an electrical service panel was blocked with a Frymaster PSDU100 fryer oil disposal cart and an industrial mop bucket and mop.   b. At the laundry room area, an electrical service panel was blocked with a 3-tier storage shelf used for small microwave oven.   c. At the kitchen station near the dining and bar/areas, an electrical service panels were blocked with a stainless steel work table and a recycling bin.   NOTE:  Certification of abatement must be submitted for this citation item as required by 29 CFR 1903.19(c).

29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met:  On or about May 4, 2022, the employer did not ensure to develop a written hazard communication programs to address all hazardous products used by employees during the following operations:  a. At the main kitchen area, employees were exposed to eyes and skin hazards when they used and/or handled corrosive products such as Spartan oven and grill cleaner (sodium hydroxide), and Detergent II (sodium hydroxide) and other products such as Pro-Brands bleach (sodium hypochlorite), and Spartan Rinse (lactic acid) during dishwashing operations and there were no facilities available for quick drenching of the eyes.  b. At the laundry room area, employees were exposed to eyes and skin hazards when they used Spartan corrosive products such as chlorine bleach, and BLD (sodium hydroxide) and other Spartan products such as fabric softener, and laundry sour during laundry operations.  c. At the pool area, employees used and/or handled corrosive products such as Nu-Clo tablets (trichloro-s-triazinetrione), Pool Time Flocculent clarifier (hydroxchloride), Robarb Super Algi-Con (didecyldimethylammonium chloride) and other products such as Soda Ash and Super Blue (sodium hypochlorite) during pool maintenance operations.  NOTE:  Certification and documentation of abatement must be submitted for this citation item as required by 29 CFR 1903.19(c).
