29 CFR  1926.451(b)(6):On scaffolds where scaffold planks were abutted to create a long platform, each abutted end did not rest on a separate support surface:  (a) 426 Fawn Valley Road State College PA Lot 550 - An employee worked from a pump jacks scaffolding to hang siding on the residential home.  The scaffolding consisted of three Alum-A-Pole pump jack scaffolding, and two stage, erected across the side of the residential home,  The employer attached the two platform planking together and was supported on one pump jack pole , thereby exposing the employees to injuries, on or about May 4, 2022.   Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date.  The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

The scaffolding consisted of three Alum-A-Pole pump jack scaffolding, and two stage, erected across the side of the residential home that was not setting on mud sills , thereby exposing the employees to injuries, on or about May 4, 2022.   Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date.  The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

The scaffolding consisted of three Alum-A-Pole pump jack scaffolding, and two stage/plank, erected across the side of the residential home, the competent person did not inspect the pump jack scaffold for hazards of the scaffold poles that were not setting on mud sills, was not secured at the bottom and was abutted to another stage/plank, before the employees used the pump jack scaffold,  thereby exposing the employees to injuries, on or about May 4, 2022.  Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date.  The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
