29 CFR 1910.134(c)(2)(ii):The employer did not establish and implement those elements of a written respiratory protection program necessary to ensure that any respirator used voluntarily was cleaned, stored, and maintained so that its use does not present a health hazard to the user. a) Quanitco Middle High School, Woodshop: On or about 5/4/22, and times prior thereto, two dusks masks available for employee use were stored by hanging face down, in the open, and in the woodshop work area. This storage method was such that they had collected visible accumulations of wood dust and particulate matter on the inside of the mask which would make contact with the employee's face when donned.
