29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section: Workplace located at 2700 W. 16th St., Sedalia, Missouri- Hallway between Lehr 5 and Lehr 6- Fans 7 & 8- An employee removed a guard protecting fans, belt, pulleys in order to work on the machine. The employer failed to develop, implement and utilize lockout tag out procedures for work being performed on the fans on the Lehr furnace. The employee touched the belt and his fingers were pulled through the pulley and lost the tips of three fingers.
