Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1):Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: (a) Location: 2102 East Boulder Street, Colorado Springs, CO 80909: On or about May 5, 2022 and at times prior to this date, the employer, Estrada Roofing, exposed employees to falls from a ladder. The ladder was located in the front of the home and did not extend three (3) feet from the upper landing of the residential home. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Certificate of Corrective Action Worksheet".
