29 CFR  1910.67(c)(2)(v): A personal fall arrest or travel restraint system that meets the requirements in 29 CFR part 1910, subpart I, shall be worn and attached to the boom or basket when working from an aerial lift.  a) 880 Hana Place Diamondhead, MS -  On or about May 5, 2022, an employee was exposed to a 35-foot fall hazard while cutting water oak tree branches from an elevated bucket without the use of personal fall protection.

29 CFR  1904.39(a)(1): Basic Requirement.  Within eight (8) hours after the death of any employee as a result of a work-related incident, you must report the fatality to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), U.S. Department of Labor.  a) On or about May 5, 2022, a work-related fatality was not reported to OSHA within 8 hours. The fatality was reported on May 6, 2022.

29 CFR  1910.1200(h)(1): Employers shall provide employees with effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment, and whenever a new chemical hazard the employees have not previously been trained about is introduced into their work area. Information and training may be designed to cover categories of hazards (e.g., flammability, carcinogenicity) or specific chemicals.
