29 CFR 1926.501(b)(9)(i): Each employee performing overhand bricklaying and related work 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a controlled access: a) On or about April 29, 2022, at the above addressed jobsite, employees performing masonry activities including, but not limited to, overhand bricklaying on the roof of a building were not using any means of personal fall protection, thereby, exposing employees to fall hazards of approximately twenty eight (28) feet. The ONKB Corporation was previously cited for a violation of an equivalent occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1306882 citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on July 18, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 2612 S. Halsted Street, Chicago, IL 60608.
