29 CFR 1910.305(a)(2)(x): Flexible cords and cables shall be protected from accidental damage, as might be caused, for example, by sharp corners, projections, and doorways or other pinch points. (a) Server room - On or about May 12, 2022, the employer did not ensure that the flexible electrical cord entering the cutout for the server box was protected from abrasion. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR 1910.303(b)(2):Listed or labeled equipment was not installed and used in accordance with any instructions included in the listing and labeling. (a) Break room - On or about May 12, 2022, the employer allowed heat-generating equipment (microwave, coffee maker, toaster) to be plugged in to a relocatable power tap instead of directly into a wall outlet which exposed employees to fire or electrical hazards. No abatement certification or documentation required.
