29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2): The employer shall instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to his work environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury:  a) Jobsite located at 2616 S. 18th St, Philadelphia, PA. - The employer did not instruct employees on identifying working conditions that expose employees to struck by hazards while utilizing air powered nail guns without eye protection.   Condition observed on or about May 12, 2022.

29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   a) Jobsite located at 2616 S. 18th St, Philadelphia, PA.: Employees conducting framing activities on the first story of a new residential building in proximity to an unguarded floor hole, were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 10 feet to the next lower level.  b) Employees conducting framing activities on the second and third story of a new residential building in close proximity to unprotected edges without proper fall protection, were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 10 and 20 feet.
