29 CFR 1910.134(f)(2):Employee(s) using a tight-fitting facepiece respirator were not annually fit tested: At Vicksburg Healthcare, LLC dba Merit Health River Region, 2100 U.S. 61, Vicksburg, MS 39183: a.) On or about May 13, 2022, the employer did not provide annual fit tests to all employees who wore respirators. The employer required employees to wear N95 filtering facepiece respirators to protect against the SARS-CoV-2 virus while providing care to suspected and confirmed COVID-19 patients. Vicksburg Healthcare, LLC dba Merit Health River Region was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.134(f)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1548578, citation number 1, item number 1, group c and was affirmed as a final order on January 4, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 1111 N Frontage Road, Vicksburg, MS, 39180.
