OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1) Or 1960.8(a): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to fire and explosion hazards: Employees engaged in well servicing at the Tate D Well #1 were exposed to explosion and fire hazards, in that the employer failed to ensure that an auxiliary escape line was attached to the derrick to permit emergency escape during a fire or explosion.
