29 CFR 1910.305(g)(2)(iii): Flexible cords and cables were not connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief was provided that would prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws: a. On or about May 17, 2022, at the copy room area (#128). Employees were exposed to an electrical hazard while plugging and unplugging flexible extension cord that had exposed conductors at the strain relief. The cord is used as a power source for a Pitney Bowes postage machine. NOTE: Certification of abatement is not required for this citation item as abatement was documented by the compliance safety and health officer during the inspection.
