29 CFR 1926.351(b)(2): Welding cable(s) in use were not free from improper repair or splices for a minimum distance of 10 feet from the cable end to which the electrode holder was connected: (a) Third Floor, Column 4AA - On or about May 18, 2022, workers were exposed to an electrical shock hazard from a welding cable which had repairs at 12 inches and 38 inches of a Miller 250 Amp. portable arc welder's rod holder during arc welding operation related to structural steel framing. No abatement certification or documentation required for this item.
