The employer had not established and implemented a site specific written hazard communication program including the Globalized Harmonized System (GHS), where the employee was required to work with and handle hazardous chemicals, such as (but not limited to) Cryl-A-Prime P101, Cryl-A-Glaze G201 and G202, SL Filler Blend, Flintshot, and Cryl-A-Top T301, T303 Clear and Pigmented.

29 CFR 1910.134(g)(1)(i)(A):The employer shall not permit respirators with tight-fitting facepieces to be worn by employees who have facial hair that comes between the sealing surface of the facepiece and the face or that interferes with valve function. JOBSITE: 749 East Main Street, Branford, CT: The employer had allowed the employees who had facial hair wearing the half face piece cartridge respirators which prevented the sealing surface of the facepiece and the face of the employees.
