The exit access must not go through a room that can be locked, such as a bathroom, to reach an exit or exit discharge, nor may it lead into a dead-end corridor. Stairs or a ramp must be provided where the exit route is not substantially level.  Location: Wine/liquor area of store On or about May 20, 2022, the path of egress to an emergency exit was obstructed by a rolling metal ladder.  Note: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the casefile, the employer need not submit certification nor documentation of abatement of this violation as normally required by 29 CFR 1903.19.
