1926.21(b)(2) The employer did not instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to his/her environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury: 29 CFR 1926.21(b)(4): In job site areas where harmful plants or animals were present, employees who were exposed were not instructed regarding the potential hazards, and how to avoid injury, and the first aid procedures to be used in the event of injury. On or about May 19, 2022, employees installing electrical equipment and lighting were not instructed on the potential hazards of bees when working around them, how to avoid them or first aid procedures, exposing the employees to the hazard of being stung by bees.
