Tags shall be used as a means to prevent accidental injury or illness to employees who are exposed to hazardous or potentially hazardous conditions, equipment or operations which are out of the ordinary, unexpected or not readily apparent. Tags shall be used until such time as the identified hazard is eliminated or the hazardous operation is completed. Tags need not be used where signs, guarding or other positive means of protection are being used. a.) KAG Energy, in the shop, on or about May 19, 2022, and times prior thereto: The Dewalt DW 758 bench grinder tongue guard exceeded 1/4 inch of at the top of the bench grinder.

29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(6)(ii): Except as provided in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(7) and 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(8), the employer did not ensure that each container of hazardous chemicals in the workplace was labeled, tagged or marked with the product identifier and words, pictures, symbols, or combination thereof, which provide at least general information regarding the hazards of the chemicals and which, in conjunction with the other information immediately available to employees under the hazard communication program, would provide employees with the specific information regarding the physical and health hazards of the hazardous chemical: a.) KAG Energy, in the shop, on or about May 19, 2022, and times prior thereto: Secondary containers of products including, but not limited to, power blast prime windshield washer fluid were not labeled with a product identifier and the hazards of the hazardous chemical(s) container therein.
