29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. On or about May 19, 2022, employees performed roofing work on the site's south side without fall protection on a roof six (6) feet or more above a lower level. B&A Legacy LLC was previously cited for a violation of an equivalent Occupational Safety and Health Standard 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in: A) OSHA Inspection #1570101, citation number 1, item number 1, with a citation issued December 22, 2021, was affirmed as a final order on February 24, 2021, concerning a workplace located at 501 Gardere Lane, BATON ROUGE, LA 70818.
