29 CFR  1910.178(p)(1):  Powered industrial truck(s) found to be in need of repair, defective, or in any way unsafe had not been  taken out of service until restored to safe operating condition:  At a worksite located at 400 N Atlantic Street Kansas City, Missouri. Employees operating the forklifts including but not limited to The PEGASUS ELITE SERIES Rico Model, Serial Number 98B30-16037-116,  known to the company as number 2 forklift were exposed to struck by hazards when operating forklift with known safety issues documented with company generated  daily inspection sheets and did not take forklift out of service for repairs. , in that the following items: were found to be missing, or defective and in need of repairs:            1. Fluid leaking  from foot pedals and Mast.         2 . Inoperative  Lights; and           3. Inoperative or  missing Horn.
