29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. A) 512 North Maple Avenue, MAPLE SHADE, NJ 08052: At this location the employer failed to ensure that each employee assigned to perform roofing work approximately 14 feet from the ground below without the use of a protective system such as but not limited to guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. Violation occurred on or about May 25, 2022. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
