Location: 15 -16 Village Green Court, South Orange, NJ The employer did not ensure that sub-contractor employees extended ladders at least 3-feet above a landing surface. Sub-contractor employees used an extension ladder to access a residential rooftop to install new shingles without extending the ladder at least 3 feet above the landing surface. The access point of the roof was approximately 30-feet to the ground. Violation observed 05/23/22

Sub-contractor employees engaged in residential roofing activities were installing shingles on the rooftop, at height of approximately 30 feet, without any means of fall protection. Violation observed on 05/23/2022 KPI2 Enterprises, Inc was previously cited for violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1562366, citation 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as final order on 01/07/2022, with respect to a workplace located at 501-516 Aspen Dr, Plainsboro, NJ 08536
