29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):"Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b): On or about 05/31/2022, at a residential construction jobsite located at 2014 Urban Drive, Brentwood, MO., employees were exposed to a fall hazard. An employee of F and V Tuckpointing, LLC was observed installing masonry construction material to a chimney wall of a residential building, while standing on a pitched roof approximately 18 feet above the ground without any means of a fall protection system.
