29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): (a) 18 Sydney Avenue, Deal, NJ: Workers engaged in framing and other related activities was exposed to fall hazards, up to and in excess of 20 feet to the floor surface below, when walking on and working on the top plates and make shift planking to reach to of rafters (2nd floor) of a residential structure without the use of fall protection. Condition noted on or about 05/31/2022. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
