On or about 6/1/2022, a) An employee used an angle grinder to cut metal studs for interior framing. The grinder was not installed with a blade guard.

29 CFR 1926.403(i)(2)(i): Live parts of electric equipment operating at 50 volts or more were not guarded against accidental contact by cabinets or other forms of enclosures, nor by any of the means listed in subparagraphs (A) through (D) of this paragraph. Location: 176 Bayard Street, Brooklyn, NY. On or about 6/1/2022, a) Employees used a temporary lighting cord as an extension cord to energize a circular saw for cutting wooden studs. The light bulb sockets were empty with live electrical contacts exposed.
