The single emergency exit door was obstructed by U-boats with merchandise.  To abate this hazard, the employer must ensure that exit doors are kept clear and unobstructed.  b) Dollar General Store #3830 1104 North Way Darien, GA 31305: a) The employer fails to ensure effective measures to prevent fire and obstruction hazards as demonstrated on or about June 1, 2022, and times prior, on the sales floor, the single emergency exit door was obstructed by merchandise.  To abate this hazard, the employer must ensure that exit doors  are kept clear and unobstructed.  Dollar General Corporation was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, 29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1555839, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on February 11, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 1748 Us Route 1 Sullivan, ME 04664. In that, access to electrical panels was blocked by a pallet jack, boxes, and roll tainers. To abate this hazard, the employer must ensure that the area in front of electrical panels is not used for storage.
