29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i):29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i): Except as provided elsewhere in this section 29 CFR 1910.28, the employer did not ensure that each employee on a walking-working surface with an unprotected side or edge that is 4 feet (1.2 m) or more above a lower level is protected from falling by one or more of the systems described in 29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i): NORAG LLC at 408 S 1st Ave. Holly, CO 81047: On or before 6/1/22 the employer did not protect employees from injury in that the parapet wall on the distributor deck was not tall enough to effectively protect employees from fall hazards. The parapet wall was approximately 26 inches tall. This condition exposed employees to a fall hazard exceeding four feet. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item. Openings around the chute greater than two inches were open. This condition exposed employees to trip hazards. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item.
