29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain programs which provided for frequent and regular inspections of the job site, materials and equipment to be made by a competent person(s). On or about June 2, 2022, and at times prior thereto, the employer did not conduct frequent and regular inspections of the job site. Workers were performing roofing activities without the use of fall protection or safety glasses, exposing the employees to the hazard of falling up to approximately 30-feet to the ground below and struck-by hazards from flying debris and projectiles. PVR Construction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.20(b)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1551188, citation number 01, item number 001 and was affirmed as a final order on September 14, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 3429 Mongolian Drive, Georgetown, TX 78628.
