29 CFR 1926.451(g)(4)(i): Guardrail systems were not installed along all open sides and ends of platforms before being released for use by employees other than erection/dismantling crews: a. 3456 US-22 W., Branchburg, NJ - Fox Hollow at Branchburg - Building 13 The employer did not ensure that pump jack scaffolds were protected along all open sides. Employees engaged in residential siding activities use Alum-a-pole pump jack scaffold that did not have end rails installed or fall protection netting secured prior to releasing the scaffold for use. Violation observed on or about June 6, 2022

29 CFR 1926.452(j)(2):Poles shall be secured to the structure by rigid triangular bracing or equivalent at the bottom, top, and other points as necessary. When the pump jack has to pass bracing already installed, an additional brace shall be installed approximately 4 feet (1.2 m) above the brace to be passed, and shall be left in place until the pump jack has been moved and the original brace reinstalled. a. 3456 US-22 W., Branchburg, NJ - Fox Hollow at Branchburg - Building 13 The employer did not ensure bottom bracing was installed on the pump jack scaffolds. Employees engaged in residential siding activities worked from Alum-A-Pole pump jack scaffolds that were not fully braced at the bottoms, which would ensure scaffold stability from kick out as the scaffold platforms were adjusted to elevation. Violation observed on or about June 6, 2022
