29 CFR  1926.416(a)(1): Employees were permitted to work in proximity to electric power circuits and were not protected against electric shock by de-energizing and grounding the circuits or effectively guarding the circuits by insulation or other means:   (a) Mosher Enterprises, Inc. at Centauri High School in La Jara, CO: On or before 6/1/22 the employer did not protect employees from injury in that a cover plate for a junction box was not reinstalled and exposed energized wires were not capped. The junction box contained a 277V lighting circuit. An employee working from a step ladder was shocked as a result and fell off the ladder and was hospitalized. This condition exposed employees to electric shock and fall hazards.  Abatement Note: Abatement certification and documentation are required for this item. See enclosed "Certification of Corrective Actions Worksheet."
