Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure. a. On or before June 8, 2022, at a worksite located at 1812 Jupiter Avenue, Hilliard, Ohio 43026: the employer did not ensure employees were protected from falls while engaged in residential construction activities. Employees were installing roofing while exposed to fall hazards greater than 6 feet. Employees were not protected from falls by any means, thereby exposed to an 18-foot fall hazard.
