29 CFR  1910.178(q)(7):  Industrial trucks were not examined for conditions that could adversely affect the safety of the vehicle on a daily basis before being placed in service:  (a)  Employees engaged in operating Hyster #19 at 1105 NW Lower Silver lake Road, Topeka, Kansas were exposed to struck-by hazards due to the front windshield and lower left side door glass being cracked.  Cracked glass can shatter and cause shards of glass to impact the operator in the event of an accident.  (b)  Employees engaged in operating Hyster #23 at 1105 NW Lower Silver lake Road, Topeka, Kansas were exposed to struck-by hazards due to the glass above the roll over protection being cracked.  Cracked glass can shatter and cause shards of glass to impact the operator in the event of an accident.
