29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees were not protected by protective helmets while working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or from falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns.   At the jobsite, employees were not wearing hardhats while working below other employees that were installing framing material to a residential house, exposing employees to struck-by hazards from falling objects.  Saul Hernandez  Alvarado Framing, was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.100(a), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1500634, Citation Number 1, Item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on December 14, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at  1408 12th Street, Northlake, TX 76226.

At the jobsite, employees operating a Hitachi nail gun to perform framing activities without eye and face protection exposing him to the hazard of being struck-by flying objects.  Saul Hernandez  Alvarado Framing, was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1500634, Citation Number 1, Item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on December 14, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at  1408 12th Street, Northlake, TX 76226.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards:  At the jobsite, employees performing framing activities working at heights that exposed them to fall hazards were not provide a training program with hazard recognition and avoidance training to protect them for being exposed to fall hazards at a heights over 6 feet to the ground below.
